Faith vs Good Deeds
If faith is the root of salvation, then good deeds are the fruit of salvation!!!
Two characteristics of justification / of salvation:
1. Faith— we are not justified by works 2. Works—we are justified not by works but for works.
Cause and results
Faith is the cause of salvation, and works are the result of salvation.

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
