1 Corinthians 3:3 NIV
You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?
Opening Question:
Building on last weeks discussion, if there are 3 ways to describe a person and their spiritual state, (natural, Godly, carnal), how do you describe yourself?
Discussion Question 1
In 1 Cor. 3:3 Paul says that the carnal or fleshly man lives like a “mere man.” What does he mean? How does a “mere man” live?

Who is responsible for the change in us to get us from living like mere men to pursuing Godliness? For help look at 1Cor. 3:6-7.
