The Story of God unfolds in rehearsal for us these days. Now only a few weeks away from Easter, we remember what Jesus has done for us. In the story of our rescue and restoration, Jesus is the central character. He immerses himself in our weaknesses, sufferings and sins. He takes it on himself. He is crushed by the dead weight of our load. But, when it is all said and done, what he does actually liberates us through deep forgiveness, cleansing and healing. You are a story-in-the-making. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God is at your roots and his fingerprints are on your life. You have been made by him and for him. The Bible says of Jesus that ‘he was before all else began and it is his power that holds everything together’. We are promised that in Christ we can have life, that we can really live! His Story—Our Story. They are meant to merge. The Story of God becomes the glorious human story of extravagant love and hope. Experience the Story with us. Let it breathe life into you.
